This ADU fills the available space above the garage of the Wolverine House. It’s a good size and an ideal spot for an accessory dwelling. The ADU has an entry facing the street and a roof deck facing over the backyard from high ground. This allows a treetop experience with no close neighbors.

By itself, the garage already has a foundation and a roof, and the ADU only takes a minor bite from the garage floor area, to make room for the stairs. It’s a sensible use of material to build the second floor and capture such a nice living space, even when the main house is designed for single level living.
