Perched on the wild Oregon coast with a stunning view of Haystack Rock, this modern home boasts a wide array of cutting-edge design features and creature comforts.
Clad in Shou Sugi Ban (yakisugi) charred wood and zinc panels, the home features double-stud walls with blown-in insulation, Dasso bamboo deck and soffits, and triple-pane Zola windows. The open kitchen, living, and dining areas invite an ocean view through a 24β-long 3-panel Zola sliding door. Two separate master suites, a spacious laundry, and garage complete the home.
Oceana Vido uses advanced technologies to reduce itβs environmental impact. Two 5,000 gallon tanks collect potable rainwater onsite. Electricity is produced by a 10kW rooftop solar array and stored by Tesla Powerwall batteries. A Minotair compact air treatment unit, and robust HVAC systems increase whole-house air quality. Wastewater is managed by an Orenco advanced septic treatment system.
